Where to begin....

Wow...so much has happened that I don't know where to start. We had to be out of our house on March 15th for the renters to move in so that weekend was crazy busy. Of course it didn't help that Adam and I both came down with severe cases of strep throat at the same time so neither of us felt like packing and loading the moving truck. In fact we didn't do much at all Friday or Saturday which made for an insane Sunday and very late Sunday night getting it all done. Fortunately we were feeling a little better that day thanks to some antibiotics we got from the ER Saturday night. It was definitely a rough weekend but we managed to get everything done and we left our house Monday morning. The original plan was for us to leave NY on the 15th too, but because some lovely people in the Army messed up Adam's paper work we couldn't leave until Wednesday. This meant we had to stay in a hotel for 2 days until we could leave. Considering everything we had gone through with moving we decided to splurge and get a jacuzzi suite at the Holiday Inn Express. This was the absolute best decision ever!! The tub was HUGE and it was so nice to be able to relax in the evenings (not to mention it gave Andrew a "mini" swimming pool to play in). Here are a few pictures from the hotel and while we were packing up the house.

Adam made Andrew a house out of a box so he had something to play with after we picked up his toys

Taking a break on Sunday. Can you tell Adam didn't feel well?

Our suite had 2 rooms. This was the room with the jacuzzi in it (and Ava's bed). The picture really does not do it any justice.

That's about it for our last few days in NY. My next post will be about our trip to visit friends at Fort Lee, VA and our day trip to Washington DC. Stay tuned because there will be TONS of pictures with that post!
