On the 12th of this month Adam had officially been gone one month. So far things have been going very well for Andrew and myself. We are hanging in there and living life the best we can without Adam here. Sure there have been some tough moments, but all in all it's been a good month. From what I can tell Adam is doing fine. He hasn't made it to his final destination just yet, but should be getting there within the next few days. It takes time to get from point to point in Afghanistan, especially when the final point is out in the middle of nowhere. Adam is limited in what he can tell me in emails and over the phone so the few conversations we have had mainly discussed Andrew and everything going on back here. Speaking of things going on here Andrew and I are super excited to be heading back to AR for a little vacation next week. It's been quite a while since I've been "home" and this will probably be my last trip until after the baby comes. I must admit I'm looking forward to having my momma cook for me although I dread my next Dr appt 2 days after I return to NY. I don't want to step on that scale after spending a week in AR! There really isn't much to talk about right now. I just wanted to give a mini update on Adam and how long he's been gone. Only 11 more months until he's home for good! Below are a few pics from Andrew playing in the snow a few weeks ago.

Yea...glad that one month is down! And I'm so excited about seeing you in less than a week! I'm glad that it worked out where we are going to be in Searcy most of that week! :) Oh...and I know that feeling about going to the doctor right after being down here. I had a doctors visit a couple days after Christmas..and I was SCARED to death to get on that scale! :) Love you!
