School Easter Party

Today Andrew's pre-school class had their Easter Party. I must say it was fun being there to watch how all of the children interact with each other. They made bunny ears to wear and bunny pictures. Then they were able to decorate some cookies with icing and sprinkles. Needless to say I think more of the icing made it into their mouths rather than on the cookies. Andrew really seems to like his school. He calls it his "big children school". His teacher is amazing. It's a shame that I wasn't able to get him into this school sooner, but I'm just happy he's there now.

Our Easter is going to be a little different this year. Given the fact that it's still very cold outside and there is still snow on the ground I don't think we will be hunting eggs. I did buy some just in case it does warm up a little, but I'm not holding out much hope. I guess we could hide them in the house, but that just doesn't seem like much fun. Who knows what we will do. This is one of the last few holidays we will have with Adam before he deploys to Iraq this fall. He is going to be gone training quite a bit the next several months so we are planning on making the most of every free minute. I don't want to start ranting about everything he is going to miss this summer right now so I'll have to save that for another day. I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter holiday and enjoys their time with family and friends.
